Happy New year 2009 Copyright reserved by GoogleThe new year is in 1 hour and 20 minutes...

Localise with QXPS

QuarkXPress Server 7 PassportPointandGo! Localise (PAGL) Version 3.0 is making impressive progress and an informal demo will be released and available for internal testing purpose very soon in January 2009.

The engine running on the backend for dynamic publishing is the powerful QuarkXPress Server 7.2, which is widely known and often used in the print industry.

Regarding the old enquiry process to the quark server, a brand-new design has been planned and implemented to allow the entire localisation management system to be kept separated to the artwork engine itself. In other words, if a quark server is not running, translation managers can still assign jobs, review and approve finished artworks, although dynamic publishing is turned off.
